Gordon’s 23 help UT Arlington take down Southern Utah 90-85

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — DaJuan Gordon’s 23 points helped UT Arlington defeat Southern Utah 90-85 on Thursday night.

Gordon also contributed nine rebounds and three steals for the Mavericks (14-13, 9-7 Western Athletic Conference). Phillip Russell scored 19 points and added eight assists. Aaron Cash had 15 points and was 6 of 11 shooting (3 for 6 from 3-point range).

Dominique Ford finished with 24 points for the Thunderbirds (9-18, 4-12). Zion Young added 20 points and four assists for Southern Utah. In addition, Parsa Fallah had 19 points and six rebounds.
